We provide compassionate and enriching care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in New Jersey who require daily support and services in their home and community settings. Adventure Mental Health (AMH), established in 2013, takes a proactive and innovative approach. In 2014 AMH became a qualified provider under the State New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). Serving, Training and Supporting individuals aged 21 and older in both programs, Community Care Waiver and Supports Program. In addition after many years of service, in 2023 edition was approved serving individuals with Behavioral Acute Factor.
AMH is a proud member National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC) and the National Association for the Dually Diagnosed (NADD), AMH upholds elevated standards of 2023, ensuring access to highly qualified staff to care for your loved ones.
AMH was selected to be part of the HealthMatters Program for People with Developmental Disabilities using a curriculum that concentrates in the Exercise and Nutrition Health Education. Recognizing that individual care is a learned behavior focusing on promoting healthy living and nutrition.
AMH trains and their certified staff in CPR, First Aid and AED as a National Red Cross Provider.
